Auxilium College, founded in the year 1954, affiliated to the University of Madras, is the first Women's College in the District. From September 2003,it is affiliated to the newly established Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. |

The Story of Auxilium College began on 1st July 1954. This day stands out as a landmark in the History of the then North Arcot District for it set in motion the transformation of a barren wasteland into a sprawling township with the dawn of higher education for women. |
VISION AND MISSION
The Vision of Auxilium College is the education of young women, especially the poor and the marginalised, who have the least opportunities for progress and advancement.
The Mission of the College is to produce in a Salesian atmosphere, intellectually enlightened, spiritually inspired, emotionally balanced,
morally upright, socially committed, integrally formed and accomplished young women who will be agents of social change in today`s India. |

Knowledge aims at academic excellence and Virtue at responsible and active citizenship. |
 The College Emblemconsists of a Book, a Lily a Lamp. The Book stands for Knowledge and Lily for Virtue.
The Lamp reminds every Auxilian to keep the light of Knowledge and Virtue always alive.
Pink and Blue are College colors. Pink symbolizes youthful cheerfulness and Blue stands for loyalty and fidelity.
The goal of our educative endeavour is realized with the participation and collaboration of every member of the Auxilium Educating
Community – the Management, the Staff, the Students, the Parents, the Alumnae, the Educational and other Agencies and all the Well-wishers. |
