Auxilium College, founded in the year 1954, affiliated to the University of Madras, is the first Women’s College in the District. From September 2003, it is affiliated to the newly established Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. Every today is the fruit of yesterday and a seed for tomorrow”.The Story of Auxilium College began on 1st July 1954.This day stands out as a landmark in the History of the then North Arcot District for it set in motion the transformation of a barren wasteland into a sprawling township with the dawn of higher education for women. Auxilium College, founded in the year 1954, affiliated to the University of Madras, is the first Women’s College in the District.From September 2003, it is affiliated to the newly established Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore.

College Union Inauguration on 13th July 2018 by Shift I

College Union Inauguration was held on 13th July 2018 in the college auditorium. Dr. Solomon Sathishkumar, Professor, Department of Physiology, Christian Medical College, Vellore graced the ceremony as the chief guest. The book titled “Vanakkam vagupparaiye” written by Dr.(Sr.) Jayaceli, Head, Department of Tamil was released on the same day.

Vellore Sepoy Mutiny by NCC on 10th July 2018

Readers Circle by Department of Tamil

The Department of Tamil organized “Readers Circle” in order to develop the reading skills on 12th July 2018 at 1.30 pm. The staff members from the department of Tamil participated in the event. They introduced various books and shared their views on them.
