The members of Auxilium Students’ Quality Cell (ASQC) were selected for the academic year 2017-2018.
21/07/17 :
The ASQC staff in-charges formulated the following plan of actions in consulting with other members of IQAC:
To organize a state level one day workshop to create general
awareness among students on Gender Abuse.
To conduct a poster competition on importance of following
traffic rules and Road Safety.
To maintain discipline of their respective classes during
morning assemblies along with the class representatives.
ASQC members to take turns to stand at the entrance to see the
late comers along with ranges and NSS volunteers.
To make sure that the class rooms are kept clean.
To instruct their classmates not to make any markings /
scribbling on the tables.
To help in entering data in the college library as the part of
digitalization.

The ASQC meeting was held at 1.30 p.m. About 50 ASQC members attended the meeting. The last month activities carried out by the ASQC members were evaluated. The ASQC members were also given an extra charge of looking into the cleanliness during break time.

Thirty posters were presented in the poster competition which was organized on the topic “Importance of traffic rules and Road safety”. R. Sangeetha& P. Jaya Divya of II B.C.A won the first prize.PavithraMagadalene& J. PrincyPriyanka of III English ‘B’ won the second prize. V. R. Jayashree& D. Sasikala of II B. Com and P. Sornamugi& S. Suganya of III B.Sc., Chemistry won the third prize. Kavitha Williams & E. Jenisha Linnet of III B. Sc. Mathematics won the consolation prize. The prize winners were given medals and certificates during youth fest programme.

The ASQC members of Mathematics department enacted a mime and created awareness among the students on Gender Abuse during common assembly.
23/11/2017 :
About 58 ASQC members attended the ASQC meeting that was held in front of the Science Block. The members were motivated to carry on their activities with zeal and zest.

The ASQC members of English ‘B’ presented a street play in front of the Arts block and created awareness on the topic “usury”.
08/12/2017 :
The ASQC members of Chemistry department enacted a skit and made the students to realize the struggles of their parents and understand their role in the family.

The ASQC meeting was held at 1.30 p.m. in front of the Science Block. The ASQC members of the departments of English B and Chemistry were appreciated for their presentations. The members were motivated to carry out their activities to enhance students’ quality with regard to discipline, cleanliness and sense of belonging.

The ASQC meeting was held to assess the activities of the ASQC members. The members were instructed to take some measures to make their classmates to converse only in English inside the campus so that the students will acquire good communicative skill in English.

ASQC Meeting was held in the auditorium. The ASQC members of both shift I and shift II along with IQAC members actively participated in the meeting. The IQAC member Dr. Scholastica Mary Vithiya B and Ms. Gowri B. explained the ASQC members What is ASQC? And what is the role of ASQC members in the development of our college? They also explained the programme and activities that were planned for the academic year 2081-2019 as follows,
09.2018 – The World Consumer Day to be conducted as No Drive Day.
10.2018 – To conduct a workshop on solid waste management and terrace gardening.
The ASQC members were asked
To present a month value every month for 5 mins during morning assembly.
To see to the cleanliness in the campus during the break and lunch
To speak in English within the campus to improve the communicative skills
To take part actively in all the ASQC activities
08-08-2018 :
The ASQC Members of the Mathematics department during the Morning Assembly enacted a Mine to create awareness on pollution caused due to the usage of fossil fuel, especially through vehicles. Mine was presented as past, present and future. In past they presented how we lived a natural life with Bullock carts, in present they depicted how the roads are full of vehicles, and the way air is polluted causing Breathing diseases. Finally they depicted the way we have to live with Bag valve mask, used in resuscitation of non-breathing casualties as a supplementary for oxygen
31-08-18 :
ASQC meeting was conducted by Ms. Anita Madona M. Asst.Prof, Department of Computer Science and Ms. Amala Rathinam, Asst. Prof., Department of Mathematics. in the seminar hall of the
computer block at 1.45 p.m. The ASQC members actively participated in the meeting, the ASQC members of mathematics department were congratulated for enacting a Mine on “Awareness of
Pollution caused by fossil fuels”.
The ASQC members of the BHA Department were asked to present a value oriented programme on “Importance of Communicative English” for the month of September. The ASQC members were asked
to maintain discipline in the class room and speak in English, and to motivate their classmates to speak in English. And discussion was carried about the Green Consumer Day on 12th
September, and how the IQAC has planned to conduct a “No Drive Day” to avoid the consummation of fuel and reduce pollution, the ASQC members were asked to speak about the No Drive Day
in their classes and create awareness among them.
24/09/2019 :
The ASQC Members of the B.H.A. department during the Morning Assembly enacted a skit on the “Importance of Communicative English”. The skit showed the class room environment where a student who had the will power to speak in English but had poor pronunciation was transformed into a good communicator by her teacher. The skit concluded that being a good communicator, we can easily express our thoughts and we can succeed in life easily.
04/10/2019 :
The IQAC of Auxilium college as a part of its activity, conducted a a one day “Hands on training programme on solid waste management and maintanence of terrace garden” to enhance the learning process of the student by understanding the integration of various activities associated with solid waste management and preparing for the future needs in promoting terrace/organic gardening.
The programme included talk delivered by,
Dr. (Sr.) Jayashanthi R.(IQAC Coordinator) on “Impact of Green house Gases on Global Warming”.
Dr. Scholastica Mary Vithiya B. (Asst. Prof in Chemistry) on “Solid Waste Management and Vermin Composting”
Ms. Gowri B.V. (Asst. Prof . in Microbiology) on ”Terrace Gardening and its Significance”.
As the last session the participants had a visit to the solid waste management project site in the campus. Around 370 students and staff from Auxilium College and 160 participants from various other colleges were benefitted by the programme.
10/10/2019 :
The ASQC members of the Zoology department enacted a skit on “The Negative Impact of Thermocol Usage”. The skit explained that, The Thermocol is a non-biodegradable and how when it is brunt it releases poisonous gases which causes respiratory problem which even causes death when it is inhaled. They also explained the different ways of recycling it.
19/12/2019 :
IQAC conducted a competition on “Wealth from Waste”. The Shift I students from various students actively participated in the competition and displayed their Handmade Craft Work made out of waste materials. The Judges for the competition were Dr. Sugantha Kumari, Asst. Prof., Dept of Chemistry, Dr. Anitha Alice E. Asst. Prof., Dept. of Commerce and Ms. Radhika M., Asst. Prof., Dept of Visual Communication. The winners of the competition are

19/12/2019 :
The ASQC members of the Chemistry department enacted a skit to create awareness on “Say No to Plastics’. The skit depicted though plastics are very easy to use, it takes many years to get decomposed. Also when plastics are dumped into the soil and ocean, how it leads to Global Warming. Finally they concluded that the manufacturers must stop manufacturing plastics because it cannot be decomposed easily or they cannot be recycled.
03-01-2019 :
The ASQC Members of the Commerce department presented the importance of Self-Defence during morning assembly. The ASQC members enacted the incorrect actions and right actions to be followed while defending through various techniques like (i) Physical Abuse (ii) Domestic Violence (iii) Physical Harassment at work place (iv) Kidnapping (v) Robbery and Chain Snatching.
Finally they concluded with the quotes,

11/02/2019 :
The ASQC members of the BCA department presented a skit on “Influence of Social Media”. They enacted how the persons involved in using social media live without getting involved with their surroundings and how life changes when there is no network. They concluded by saying “Don’t use social media”, but to use social media in a proper way without getting addicted to it
11/02/2019 :
The ASQC members of the BCA department presented the “Importance of First Aid”. The ASQC members explained about the uses of 108 ambulances. Also, they explained how doctors in the 108
ambulance take care of the patience by giving them First Aid, before they are taken to the hospital.
And then, they explained about 104 emergency calls. When we make a call to 104, how 104 instructs us about the First Aid procedure that must be given to different kinds of Accident
cases. Finally, they concluded with the death rate that occurred caused without proper First Aid.
