On this day, the Vellore Maavatta Pagutharivu Sangam organized a district-level speech competition to commemorate the 146th birth anniversary of the social reformer, Periyar E.V. Ramasamy. The competition served as a platform for young students to express their thoughts on Periyar's principles and their relevance in today's society. Seven students represented Shift II. The participants delivered speeches that reflected their deep understanding of Periyar’s ideologies and his contributions to social justice and rationalism.Ms. R. Swetha, of I MBA student won third prize of cash Rs.1000 along with a trophy and a certificate of merit. All participants from Auxilium College were recognized for their active involvement and commitment to the event. Each participant was awarded a certificate of participation and Shield.
