The 55^th College Day was celebrated with great joy and gratitude to God. Hon’ble Minister for School Education Thiru.Thangam Thennarasu was the Chief Guest. The family of Auxilium gratefully celebrated the cooperation of every member in all the activities, specially the contribution of Rev.Sr. Jacintha, the Secretary of Auxilum College, who retires from service as a teacher in May 2009. She was felicitated by the Chief Guest Thiru.Thangam Thennarasu. The staff and students of the department of Chemistry honoured Ms.Maria Lilly the Laboratory Assistant, dept. of Chemistry, who also retires from service in May 2009. The magazine of the department of Chemistry CHRYZL was released by the Chief Guest Thiru.Thangam Thennarasu. The Secretary, Rev.Sr.Jacintha received the first copy.

      The Management of Auxilium introduced the Auxilium Benefactor Award to honour the contribution of the well-wishers of the institution. The award was conferred on Mr.Ranganatha (retd.) Thasildar, Mr.Varadhan, the Legal Advisor of the College, Mr.Bhaskaran, the Proprietor of K.V.Press, Vellore and Mr.Kulandei Francis, President, Integral Village Development Project (IVDP), Krishnagiri. The Pincipal Dr.(Sr.) Eugini Fathima presented the Annual Report of the activities of the College. The Chief Guest Thiru.Thangam Thennarasu delivered the College Day Address on the need for Higher Education for Women. He requested the students to reach out to the society spreading the knowledge and virtue they acquired in Auxilium. Later the Chief Guest released a book by Dr.Thamarai Selvi, Lecturer in Tamil – “Kurunthogayil Samudhayam” and distributed Prizes and Scholarships to the students. The Prize distribution was followed by Cultural Programmes.
