INAUGURATION OF THE COLLEGE UNION SHIFT –I

     The Inauguration of the college union shift-I was held on 22-7-2009. Dr. K. Major. Subramanian, Joint Director Collegiate Education, vellore region,Was the chief guest. The college union leaders were given their insignia by their respective staff advisors. The leaders pledged their dedication  and hard work to the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the college. The chief guest  Dr. Major. Subramanian spoken on the enormous contribution of women to the sustenance of the family and the development of the society. He asked the students to make use of the opportunities they get, in the college and in the society.

          INAUGURATION OF THE COLLEGE UNION - SHIFT II

     The inauguration of the college union shift-II was held on 21-7-09. The programme was presided over by Thiru. Dr. G. Vishwanathan, Chancellor of VIT University. The leaders of the college union took up their office and receive the insignia from their respective staff Advisors. The college magazine was released by the chief Guest Thiru Dr. G. Vishwanthan, and the secretary Rev. Sr. Jacintha received the first copy.

     Dr.G. Vishwanathan congratulated the leaders and spoke on the Electoral system of the Indian Government and the need to improve the standard of Higher Education in India. The principal Dr. (Sr.) Eugini Fathima felicitated Thiru Dr.G. Vishwanathan on the conferrement of Honorary Doctorate degree on him by the West Virginia University, in America.
