A candidate who has passed M.Com. Degree Examination in Commerce of the Thiruvalluvar University or any other University accepted by the syndicate of the Thiruvalluvar University as equivalent there to, shall be permitted to get admitted into, appear and quality for the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Degree Examination in Commerce, of this College, after completing a course of One Academic Year in the College.

The minimum marks for admission to the course shall be 55% in M.Com. Degree course done on Regular basis.

The conditions for admission prescribed under the regulations in respect of M.Phil. Degree Course should be strictly followed.

The Candidate should have passed the Two-year Post Graduate Degree Course in Commerce, after a Three-year Degree Course and a Higher Secondary Course of Twelve years duration.  Candidates who have passed the Postgraduate Degree Examination with less than 17 years of total duration are not eligible for admission to the M.Phil. Degree Course.
