The Enviroclub (Shift II) had organized “ Seed Ball Throwing Campaign” on 15th September. 70 Enviroclub volunteers were actively involved and made 3250 seed balls. These seed balls consists of variety of seeds rolled within a ball of red soil and manure. It is a simple and effective technique for growing plants. After 2hours of drying, the seed balls were distributed to the Secretary, Principal, Vice Principal and Staff members of the college.
This seed balls can scatter on the ground without digging a hole or cultivating the soil. The seed ball sowing takes less time and money than traditional seed sowing techniques.
