27.11.2018 – Exposure Visit of Delegates from Kerala
A Team of 14 delegates, comprising Principals, Academicians, IQAC Coordinators and Teachers from the Mar Thoma Higher Education Commission, Kerala, headed by Dr.M.O.Koshy, Former Pro-Chancellor, Kannur University, visited Auxilium, to be exposed to the policy, planning and execution of the activities, involving teaching, learning, evaluation and extension .
The team had a meeting with the College Council, and sought clarifications on academics, extra-curricular and extension activities. At the meeting, the delegates had a discussion with the Principal, Secretary, Vice-Principals, Heads of the Departments, Deans and Staff-Advisors of all the groups and movements and gathered information on Mentoring system, the syllabi, Solid Waste Management, Research Projects, online courses, feedback system, Alumni Association, the overall work-culture and the other best practices of Auxilium College. Dr.Koshy shared his experience on visiting Auxilium as the Chairperson of the NAAC Peer Team in August 2016, and added that the commitment of Auxilium College to Higher Education of Women, extension service to the neighbourhood and prison ministry inspired him to bring the delegates from the colleges in Kerala to visit Auxilium. The delegates visited the library, the English language lab and the extension activity stalls, the adopted villages of the various groups and movements and the Vellore Central Prison. At the end of the day, the team of delegates bid adieu to Auxilium with gratitude for the warm hospitality and the inspiration gathered.
