Documentation and College Website Structure – The Core Foundation of NAAC

The focus of the session was directed towards Documentation: Data Collection and Creation of Supportive Evidences, under which the other major concerns were – Data Management Software, Database Creation, Customized Data Management Software, Directory Structure and Tagging of Files. The second half of the session was an orientation towards Web Structure. The resource person had highlighted the outstanding features of the Website of St. Joseph’s College enabling a better understanding of structuring Institutional Website.

The speaker offered an elaborate explanation on the significance of the Data Format and Data Templates, the Glossary as an essential reference material, the need to thoroughly understand the RAF Manual, and the SOP as a guide to understanding the NAAC expectation, norms and Procedures.
The sessions successfully enlightened the participants and encouraged discussion leading to a better understanding of the Revised NAAC norms and Procedures. Active participation was evident with the discussion that followed the sessions. The participants from the Mentee Colleges profited by an extended introduction to the Revised Accreditation Framework. A feedback from the participants was also collected for analysis. The programme was concluded with the Vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Gowri B. V., Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology.
