The Workshop began with a Prayer followed by a welcome address delivered by Ms.Lalith Priya M D, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Auxilium College (Autonomous). The resource person was Dr. Binu Thomas, Joint Director Marian Institute for Innovative Teaching Learning & Associate Professor of Computer Science, Marian College (Autonomous), Kuttikkanam, Kerala. The session focussed on the MOODLE (Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) – a free open source package designed to help educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create learning environments. The session also provided an insight on the importance of Artificial Intelligence in ICT enabled Teaching Learning in the present scenario of education in handling the millennium generation students. He also addressed that technology could slowly bring students out of inhibition. Hands on training to the faculty members were provided on mentimeter, zeetings, plickers, zooms and moodle cloud apps. The sessions successfully enlightened the participants and encouraged discussion leading to a better understanding on the development of smart content, virtual content, audio content and visual content to develop personalized learning. A feedback form was collected at the end of the session for analysis. The programme concluded with the Vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Valentine Usha Kalaichelvi, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Auxilium College (Autonomous). Around 180 staff of shift I and II were benefited by the Faculty Development Programme.
