The entrepreneurship development cell conducted three days entrepreneurship awareness camp on 18th, 19th & 20th September 2018. This mini project is funded and supported by DST and NSTEDB, Entrepreneurship development Institute of India, Ahmadabad, Gujarat

The main objective of this project is to create awareness among faculty and students of science about various facts of entrepreneurship as an alternative career option. The project took of with a grand inauguration by Lighting Kuthuvillaku Mr. s Jaisankar Chief Executive Thozhil Munaivor Aalosanai, Salem, was the chief Guest for the first session. He addressed the gathering by narrating the entrepreneurship concept clearly. He explained about how to register an enterprise, getting loan, income generation, repayment of loan etc., further he motivated the students to become women entrepreneurs. Students were much benefited.

The programme was preceded by Dr.Sr.Mary Sheila Susairaj Vice principal Shift – II, Dr. Auxilia Antony project co-ordinate and the members of the organizing committee. The second session chief guest was Ms.Kowsalya, Ramani Industries Thiruchengode, Namakkal. She is a women entrepreneur producing paper cups and napkins. She explained her own story of becoming entrepreneur, how to produce paper cups and napkins, how to be more hygiene and to usage the napkins. She also motivated the students to become entrepreneurs by earning through learning.

The chief guest for the second day was Mr. R Bhaskar, Manya Group Chennai. His vision concentrated on how to be more responsible, confident, self reliant etc., He stressed more about self development and the leadership qualities. The students were motivated with zeal and confident.

On the third day the students were taken to Business incubation VIT, Vellore which was followed by a visit to Dakshan Chitra Chennai, to know more about heritage and culture of South India.
